In my 4th Congressional District/ Colorado, veterinarians, chemical pesticide experts, County Commissioners, should immediately supply Congressman Cory Gardner with facts enough to support the dissolving the EPA. Because Weld County is not allowed to eradicate mosquitoes with the affective DDT, it is unnecessarily subjected to a negative economic impact, plus equine and human death.
I'm just a homemaker farm lady who can't even work in my own yard because I get eaten up by mosquitoes! And I know I'm not alone! My county is amongst the 8th largest agriculture producing county in the U.S. Without sealing our bodies in DEET armor, we can't work in our fields.

Colorado's billion dollar equine industry is constantly threatened because of West Nile.

As volunteer editor of Land And Water USA, my un-funded/non-bias/sans political homework has revealed DDT to be the only pesticide affective enough to eradicate mosquitoes. DDT has been scientifically proven to be harmless to human, animal and plant life. The only justification for the ban on DDT is born out of the sick minds of De-populationists. Even some EPA attorneys have been documented saying (And I paraphrase. Do not construe as direct quotes! ) stuff about malaria victims, "just Negro black people and other minorities who die..."

My research also revealed a rather startling, albeit curious bit of info, in that U.S. chemical companies are ban from even manufacturing DDT. So guess who can make it? China and India.

EPA's refusal to lift the DDT ban gives that agency zero credibility and reason enough for President Obama to not only ban that agency, but abolish it in its entirety.

The ban on DDT isn't the only ugly little job and human life killing activity the EPA engages in. It's a horrible agency that deserves to die, so that humans can live.
