Government Seduces You With False Premises

Someone said that if you tell a lie often enough, it becomes reality and most of us know that it is true. All governments have become highly adept at lying to the public with trumped-up false premises to get your money, control your behavior and increase the size of government. The cost to the people of America for this folly of false premises, upon which government policy is based, is at least equal to, or far exceeds America's current national debt. The national debt is fast approaching $9.4 TRILLION dollars and it has been estimated that the debt is increasing at the rate of $1.6 BILLION PER DAY. [NOTE: To give you an idea of just how much $9.4 Trillion dollars is, if laid end-to-end in one-dollar bills, it would extend from the center of the Sun to the center of the planet Saturn, some 890,000,000 miles, or 9.6 times farther than the distance from Earth to the Sun.]

There are three major false premises that the government (any government) lies about today, lobbied heavily by special-interest groups. They are "socialism", "radical environmentalism" and the "one-world-order".

The first false premise is that society is absolutely and unequivocally responsible for establishing and maintaining a safety net for those less fortunate, or so the government tells us after almost 80 years of intense, mind-numbing propaganda and enabling legislation. Now you won't find one mention of a government duty to provide welfare in our Constitution, but ever since FDR decided to save us from ourselves and the Great Depression by expanding the Bill of Rights to include socialist policies, government has seduced us with this falsehood. This applies to every single existing federal, state and local welfare program and any new ones government, in its not-so-infinite wisdom will add, to pander to voters. Perhaps a simple graph can best explain the insanity of this government-instituted policy.

The government's welfare policy, based on a false premise, does not take into account human weakness for a free handout, changes in demographics, increases in life spans, rampant immigration and the law of diminishing returns. But worse than all the tax money expended on this insanity, is the robbing of the "takers" of their self worth and pride and their chance to become self-reliant, independent and responsible citizens that produce things for our society, rather than being a drag on it. A society grows weaker and less productive as government welfare rolls increase and along with this increase, comes increased government power. Welfare, from any reasonable perspective under our constitution, must be by true charity and handled in the private sector. Government-run welfare, by its very nature, becomes riddled with corruption, fraud, waste and abuse, as will be the case if America adopts the insane policy of government-run health care. True charity is where you give to others as your free choice, not a choice government makes for you, at the point of a gun.

One of the great false premises of all time, that borders and mass hysteria, is the premise that man is "killing" the planet and must therefore be regulated to death and stripped of taxes, property and life style. Further, he must to be driven out of the suburban and rural areas and he must be crowded into large cities like sardines, to leave the rest of the land mass untouched. There is no doubt that man's "footprint" has some negative impact on the Earth. But contrary to this ill-conceived false premise, the impact is negligible and the planet will survive quite nicely, with or without us.

Long before man appeared on the scene, the Earth endured massive sunspot radiation, reversing poles, shifting magnetic fields, drifting continents, asteroid and comet collisions and ice ages, in its 4.5 billion-year history. It has experienced the wondrous 165 million-year dinosaur experiment. Six hundred million years ago, the "Cambrian explosion" occurred, when life almost magically erupted, emerged and evolved at a pace never before seen.

Over its lifetime, the Earth spun, tilted, wobbled, heaved, shifted, rose and shrunk, drastically changed, expelled gases and molten lava, grew hot and then cold. Continents drifted first toward each other (Pangea) and then away. Polar ice caps and glaciers melted and sea levels rose and then lowered. Many of Earth's more cataclysmic events would have rendered the human species extinct, had humans lived at the time of such events. In fact, 99.999% of all species that ever lived on Earth are now extinct. Species are going extinct regularly and new species are being created as they adapt to new or changing environments. Civilization's rise over the last 5,000 years has occurred during a relatively quiet time on Earth.

But about 12,000 years ago, one-third of the Earth's surface was covered in a layer of ice more than one mile thick. During that ice age, which lasted longer than civilized man has lived on Earth, there were no animals, plants, insects or habitat that could survive in this harsh environment. But life on Earth still survived in other places less hostile. The ultimate thaw and the rushing torrent carved deep gouges and massive channels in the Earth's surface. It created riverbeds and dry falls and lakes and inland seas and other features in the Earth's crust, not there before. All of these things will happen again and the only choice man has is to adapt. In retrospect, what could man possibly do to the Earth that the Sun, asteroids, comets and the Earth itself, have not already inflicted upon it?

This propaganda of radical environmentalism is probably one of the greatest con games ever perpetrated on a society or culture by government, at all levels, in the entire history of man. All this poppy cock about endangered species, invasive species, wetland preservation and global warming is just so much hype and propaganda, foisted on the people by government and the radicals that lobby government, as the rationale to control our money, our lives and our property, way beyond the limits of common sense for a free society, or the authority granted to government by our federal and state constitutions.

Finally, we have the propaganda of the one-world-order premise being heaped upon us from all directions. This false premise drives government policy towards open borders, comprehensive immigration reform (amnesty by any other name), a questionable union of the U. S., Canada and Mexico, free trade agreements, radical environmental treaties, international law-making by executive order, and the like, without congressional ratification. This one-world-order movement is being orchestrated by international elitists, the United Nations and Europe and the international money brokers and is a direct threat to American sovereignty, as well as its economic prosperity. The following link is a report of the last meeting of the Trilateral Commission in late April, 2008. If you have any doubts about the one-world-order, we suggest you log onto the link and read the article. For the sake of objectivity, we point out that the report is an editorial opinion.

So you ask, why is the one-world-order a false premise? Because America and its freedom and liberty is the only hope of the entire world. It lays ownership to that claim because of the profound results and impact it has had on every nation, since its inception, 230 plus years ago. If our rule of law under our constitution is diluted or repealed in favor of international law and treaties, if our sovereignty is weakened, we will slowly decay into the mediocrity that almost all other nations endure. The blood and treasure of millions of Americans have freed over one billion people and saved the lives of countless millions. Our industry and commerce have so far been unequaled by any country, since commerce and trade first became part of the human culture. Our advances and contributions to technology far exceed the contributions of any other country. Sharing of that technology and innovation have lifted many countries out of extreme poverty and if we don't screw it up, we can continue our contribution to that effort. Other peoples from other countries are trying very hard to get into America for this very reason. Very few are leaving America because they don't like it here.

Our un-paralleled industry, creativity and generosity are the direct result of two things, American-style freedom and the creation of wealth under freedom. Should we succumb to the false premise of the one-world-order, we can kiss our American-style freedom, our wealth, our technological advances, our extreme generosity, freedom and our property rights goodbye, as the rest of the world draws on our wealth and sweat equity for their own ends and perverts the very thing that made America what it is today, a shining light to the rest of the world. Americans will suffer the consequences, but then so will all the peoples of the world, rich or poor.

If you believe otherwise, then you have been duped and brainwashed by the false premises of long-running government propaganda. The truth is, for far too long, we have allowed government to usurp our God-given rights, rob our sweat equity and break our spirit, without a shot being fired, while we let them do it. As the great orator and presidential candidate Obama says, it is time for real change, but not the kind of change that is ricocheting off the inside of his skull. The only meaningful change is where Government fears the people and not the other way around. Otherwise we can stake no claim to WE THE PEOPLE, or the CONSENT OF THE GOVERNED.

"Miracles do not cluster. Hold on to the Constitution of the United States of America and the Republic for which it stands -- what has happened once in six thousand years may never happen again. Hold on to your Constitution, for if the American Constitution shall fail, there will be anarchy throughout the world." - Daniel Webster
